God Rescued Hearts – FGF Highlights, Augusta, GA

Girl, I’ve got Georgia on my mind! It was wonderful being back in Augusta last weekend for another Fresh Grounded Faith event. I’m telling you, these southern sisters were on fire for the second year in a row!

Thank you to Taylor Gerlach for the beautiful photos. To see the entire Facebook photo album, click here. For those of you who joined the photo booth fun, you can view your photos here.

As the doors opened on Friday evening, one of the women entered with a t-shirt that read, “He left the 99 to rescue me” (Matthew 18:12). What a fitting verse this turned out to be!

God rescued and comforted hearts at Fresh Grounded Faith Augusta. What a mighty and merciful God we serve! [Click to Tweet]

The Lord truly did rescue hearts. We heard heartbreaking stories of how He sustained women through difficult losses. And, the altar call on Saturday was a beautiful picture of God’s love as women released their hurts to Him.

We celebrated 2 new sisters in Christ, 53 women who chose to renew their commitment to Him, and 39 children who were sponsored through Compassion International.

And, it was so good to have Sheila Walsh, Angie Smith, and Michael O’Brien join us. What a blessing and encouragement each of them was!

We’re so grateful to Abilene Baptist Church and the co-host churches for once again making us feel at home. Our Local Conference Coordinator Kileigh Jones and all of the sweet volunteers were amazing!

I’m so grateful God leaves the 99 to rescue us—and that He did that for women in Augusta. What a mighty, merciful God we serve!

Blessings,

Jennifer and the FGF Team!
