We Won’t Be Shaken — FGF Highlights, Springfield, MO

Oh, girls… where do I start? This past weekend was Fresh Grounded Faith in my hometown of Springfield, and I am just praising and thanking the Lord today for how He worked in our hearts. All of us. From beginning to end, His presence was so evident and I will never forget it.

I can’t thank my dear friend (and local conference coordinator), Paula Voris, enough for making sure the entire weekend was seamless, for my home church that I love, Second Baptist,  for hosting and for the 211 volunteers and 13 co-host churches who all pitched in and helped… it truly was a glorious weekend.

Thank you to Margaret Feinberg for bringing such a transparent, relatable message… it did my heart so, so good. And boy, does she make me laugh! It’s such a gift. Karen Abercrombie surprised us with a visit from Mrs. Clara — what a special way we got to close in prayer on Friday night! And her testimony and Rahab monologue — just beautiful.

Today we are celebrating 30 women who made decisions for Christ, 34 children rescued from poverty through Compassion International, and a completely sold-out conference! God is good.
