These were some of the happiest women I have ever been around! They loved big, laughed hard, and listened to every word with open hearts. I love them!!
Karen Kingsbury was an absolute delight! This was her first time to join us for Fresh Grounded Faith, and I hope it’s the first of many. Her stories were funny and moving and we all fell in love with the author of all those books we already loved.

Karen Abercrombie brought down the house with her Miss Clara prayer from War Room – in costume and everything. Amazing.
Worship by Michael O’Brien was beautiful as usual. All of the ladies just loved him – he does such a great job leading us in praise and worship and he’s funny… so thankful for him.
You wouldn’t believe it, our meals were prepared by professional chefs — unreal and delicious. Quinoa stuffed squash and peppercorn encrusted pork tenderloin — yum! After dinner, I was definitely one of the happiest women I know. Nice to have professional chefs since I am definitely a professional eater!
We just can’t thank Local Conference Coordinator Rhonda Reilly enough for organizing this event so beautifully! Her volunteers took care of all the details, too. And Beacon Baptist Church and the co-host churches were such gracious hosts. The joy of the Lord was in that place and the joy of the Lord really is our strength — their joy in Him brought strength to our team as we are getting a little road weary.
Best parts were the 54 kids sponsored through Compassion International and the 7 new sisters in Christ — yes! Thank you, Lord.
