I love those Texas women… they make me want to trade in my tennis shoes for cowboy boots! But, not sure cowboy boots would look so good with my yoga pants! We were with a great big bunch of friends — such love and safety in that place. Just real women being real with each other.
Spill the beans was so fun with Lisa and Laura — they are both so funny. The best part had to be when Lisa used Phil as her ventriloquist dummy! But, I think he would do most anything for his favorite Mouseketeer.
In case you haven’t heard yet, Laura Story is pregnant and said she may not be able to hold her guitar in front of her much longer as that baby inside is growing. No big deal… that girl can just play piano instead, she is so talented!
God was good. We felt right at home.
I’d like to give a big thank you to Local Conference Coordinator Meredith Summers for doing a beautiful job of heading up this event! And thank you toCourtney Cochran for taking such beautiful photos! Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, you were lovely… thank you for opening your doors to us and making us feel so welcome! And last but not least, thank you to the 10 co-host churches for all your help, too. You ALL blessed us so much!
