Deep in the Heart of Hill Country: FGF Highlights-Boerne

Once again, God filled our cups at Fresh Grounded Faith this past weekend. We were deep in the heart of Texas again… Boerne to be exact.

We want to thank First Baptist Church who hosted Fresh Grounded Faith this weekend and all 1,000 women who attended! In addition, thank you to the 11 other co-host churches that brought this kingdom-minded event to Boerne, Texas. You are such a blessing!

Stormie Omartian did her thing — she shared her story and how God used the power of prayer to save her marriage and to save her life! One of my favorite quotes from her this weekend was, “What you don’t know about God will become the weapons the enemy will use against you.” Powerful, huh?

Oh girls, we must press on and in to know God.

Some of the other ways He moved this weekend:
7 Women chose to become our sister-in-Christ for the first time
87 Women submitted prayer requests
134 Churches represented
5 States represented
214 Volunteers
And, Meredith Andrews was incredible as usual — what a voice, what a heart! And, she brought her sweet newborn, Frankie, with her again. I’m telling you, that little baby girl steals all our hearts. I love having a Fresh Grounded Faith baby along!

But, beyond the wonderful women, the sweet spirit of servanthood, and the delicious brisket we ate Friday night, the true highlight was that God brought seven new sisters into the family this weekend.

Hallelujah!

We also want to thank the Lord for the 55 women who chose to renew their commitment to Christ this weekend. And, for the 86 children released from poverty in Jesus’ Name through Compassion International!

Isn’t God good? Amen!

I want to wind up with a big shout out to the whole Fresh Grounded Faith team – you make the conferences run smoothly which blesses our Lord and others. You make a REAL difference!
