I love January. It’s usually a snuggly month to regroup after Christmas and prepare for a great new year. This January was no exception (with the exception of a lumpectomy which I’ll tell you about in Fresh Grounded Thoughts). Our Christmas was wonderful.
We flew to my folks’ home in Florida on Christmas afternoon. We also got to spend a whole day with all of Phil’s family who had gathered in Tampa.

A big thank you goes to our host venue Woodland Park Baptist Church and all the churches that have participated – – what an incredible group of women. There were many churches from in and around the Chattanooga area that graciously served the Lord and we are thankful for each one of you who wanted to bring this event to your area.
We had an amazing weekend with about 800+ women coming from all over the greater Chattanooga area, and beyond. We joined together for fresh grounded Bible study from Jennifer Rothschild and incredible testimony and sharing from Stormie Omartian and amazing worship and music with Michael O’Brien.

I felt rejuvenated and renewed. It made me to remember to remind myself daily that God is so much bigger and better than anything that gets in my way. Thank you all for the blessing I received and continue to receive through the books I got and am studying. May God continue to bless your works! Amy R.

What a blessing the conference was. I loved it all. Stormie’s testimony was fantastic and the worship with Michael was wonderful. Jennifer has a great presence and such a way of getting her point across. I loved the advice she gave about getting a few sentences down instead of trying to get everything and not getting anything. Great idea. I thought her message about going to the other side was very encouraging. Sondra M.

I was so blessed by this conference. I needed to have a God moment and I did. Right before the conference, we found out my daughter has breast cancer. She is 33 years old. I can’t wait to share the session CD’s with her. Even her oncologist was talking about this conference that his wife attended! I hope and pray my daughter will be as inspired as I was about God’s love and healing that was conveyed in the messages of the speakers. It was such a wonderful weekend and I can’t wait to get the session CD’s. Kristie F.

I was just about to give up on women’s conferences but decided to try one more – yours. Am I glad I did! Jennifer was so inspiring by showing that she has turned her handicap into a blessing that I have tried to have a different attitude about my physical limitations too. And I have dug out the Kathy T music I had as a 20 something woman and am listening to it again. She is a year younger than me and now I feel a sisterly bond! If she ever gives up music, she can tour women’s ministry as a stand up comedienne. She had me crying I was laughing so hard. God bless you. Bonnie D.

I had to miss Friday night but Saturday morning was fantastic. What wonderful words of truth given in love! I can’t wait to listen to the audio book I purchased. And I can’t wait to hear Jennifer speak again. I hope a visit back to the NW is on the books. Thank you for sharing your story and inviting Abby and Lysa! So good!
