Okay, my husband has officially been told that his jokes are “Dad Jokes.”
Do you know what that means? Well, if you have a teenager, you probably do.
Dad jokes are well… how shall I put it? Dumb. Yep, they’re just flat out dumb. And, my husband has taken “dad jokes” to an all new, Olympic-sized level.
We all have days when we feel like we’re just not enough.
You know… strong enough, smart enough, creative enough, motivated enough, or whatever your “enough” is!
Every woman has felt that way. And, when we do, we can start believing the lie that says how we feel is who we are.
Right? Surely, I am not the only one?!
Oh girl, I know I’m not the only one.
Oh girl, I need boundaries!
Just like a child is more secure when she has boundaries, I am learning that I am more free to be me when I have boundaries too.
As I’m learning how to identify with my identity and find myself in God’s view of me, I am learning that boundaries help me.
Boundaries help me stay close to God and my true identity.

The first words from a first born baby are just the best, aren’t they?
Our first child’s first word was… wait for it… wait for it… ball!
Yep, not original, but, girl, I wrote it down in the baby book, called my mom and was so excited I could have started a blog dedicated to his brilliance.
Then, he added words, but only a few. He called my husband “Dadda” and he could also say “up” when he wanted out of his crib.
