Breathless in Wonder in Colorado – FGF Highlights, Fort Collins, CO

Have you ever been to Colorado in the fall? This past weekend, the Centennial State was crisp and cool and beautiful. Oh, girl, it was a wonderful place for our most recent Fresh Grounded Faith women’s event!

Phil and I went in a day early so we could visit some of the local attractions. We started with Estes Park where we rode in a surrey carriage (yes, with fringe on top) and then ate at Penelope’s—what amazing burgers!

A Thousand Little Blessings in Big Texas – FGF Highlights, Lubbock, TX

For Texas to be such a big place, it felt awfully small this weekend. Maybe it was because there were so many little blessings that made such a huge impact on my heart!

For example, I met Amy. She served as the professional counselor this weekend at Fresh Grounded Faith Lubbock. Oh my—I think I met my double!

The women in Shelbyville were unshakeable! Together, we dropped our gravel strength and leaned hard on the Rock who is Christ—and you can be sure we weren’t disappointed! God did great things!

Toothless in Seattle – FGF Highlights, Port Orchard, WA

Have you ever been to Seattle? Girl, it’s stunning!! We had perfect weather, ate fish and chips on the pier, visited Starbucks’ headquarters, went to Pike Place Market, rode the ferry, and … went to the dentist.

Dentist? Yes.

Phil and I sat outside Pike Place Market, sipping Starbucks and nibbling on a cinnamon roll. Until one fatal bite changed everything.

Filled in O’Fallon – FGF Highlights, O’Fallon, IL

Breakfast pizza! Yep—not pizza for breakfast, but actual breakfast pizza—is what we had Saturday morning this past weekend at Fresh Grounded Faith in O’Fallon, Illinois. Scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon all on a glorious slice of heaven—it’s a St. Louis thing!

And then there was the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake! It’s another St. Louis tradition and it tastes just like it sounds—like biting into a sweet cloud of loveliness!

Buckeyes and Blessings – FGF Highlights, Columbus, OH

If you’ve ever been to Columbus, Ohio, then you know how much the ladies there love their state university. When you shout “O-H!”—they come back with a loud “I-O”! But that’s not all these sweet women are excited about. During last weekend’s Fresh Grounded Faith in Columbus, I experienced the even greater passion they have for the Lord.
