Breakfast pizza! Yep—not pizza for breakfast, but actual breakfast pizza—is what we had Saturday morning this past weekend at Fresh Grounded Faith in O’Fallon, Illinois. Scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon all on a glorious slice of heaven—it’s a St. Louis thing!
And then there was the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake! It’s another St. Louis tradition and it tastes just like it sounds—like biting into a sweet cloud of loveliness!
The food isn’t the only reason FGF O’Fallon will hold a special place in my memory, though. Girl, my tummy was happy, but so was my heart! There are so many fabulous reasons this weekend filled me up!
The women were so fun and encouraging. I loved to see the Lord unifying the Body of Christ there!
Many of our sisters from FGF Belleville joined us at FGF O’Fallon. In fact, more than half of the co-host churches this weekend were from FGF Belleville. A huge thank you to all of our co-host churches and to our host church, First Baptist O’Fallon, for taking such great care of us and keeping our bellies full!
We are also grateful to Local Conference Coordinator Barbara Lee for putting together a seamless event, and to the sweet volunteers who served and loved attendees so well! You all are a blessing!
The messages from Angie Smith were so inspiring, and the music and worship from Michael O’Brien was above and beyond!
And, there is even more to praise the Lord for! Three sisters made decisions for Christ, 42 women decided to renew their commitment to Christ, and 43 children were sponsored through Compassion International.
Sister, my cup is full!
