Fresh Grounded Faith is a wrap!
We finished strong and sweet in Clinton, Tennessee this past weekend. And, what a way to finish for the spring!
Those East Tennessee women were the best! I used to think the tea was the sweetest thing in Tennessee until I met those women! We came to minister to them, but, I think they ministered to us even more!
Vicki Courtney joined us and so did Meredith Andrews. Those women both inspire me. I loved Vicki’s teaching and Meredith’s voice and songs brought me to heavenly heights and, then, to tears!
And, I wasn’t the only one in tears.
The altar was full of women praying together and finding a fresh start with Jesus.

Last thing – those beautiful Tennessee women rescued 41 children from poverty in Jesus Name through Compassion International. And, my mom-in-law was one of them! She now has a little cutie-pie from Mexico in her life. Love that! Shaun Groves serving Compassion International has been such a special part of the FGF family this spring… he constantly moves me and makes me laugh with his top-notch story telling. And, did you know the man can sing? Oh girl, check him out.
Thanks to Sid Brewer for bringing this Kingdom-minded event to Clinton. The Lord used you, sister. And, a big thank you to our host church, Second Baptist Church, for their hospitality. And, to the co-host churches for making this event such a success! We can’t wait to come back — it’ll be a family reunion because we now think of all of you as family!
